Full Description
As a result of damage to an underground electrical services tunnel in Ilford by a tunnel boring machine that drilled into it. An emergency repair situation arose to remove damaged cables , lighting and alarm units and recable and connect to new devices so that supplies and services could be restored in as quick a time as possible.
