This is re-enforced with the majority of our work being carried out on a partnering basis, as a preferred supplier or repeat business with many of our clients.
The Business Management and quality of our work is overseen by our accreditation to ISO9001:2000, an accreditation that has been in place since 1991.
Health & Safety
L J Monks is committed to the highest levels of Health & Safety and that it is paramount in all our activities. Our Health & Safety Management system is accredited to OHSAS18001. All our Contracts Engineers and Managers have attended Health & Safety Management courses and all our site staff are CSCS accredited.
All our sites are regularly audited and several initiatives have been developed to keep Health & Safety high on everybody's agenda.
Training
We are committed to training both at site and in the office. We annually take on Craft Apprentices for both Electrical and Mechanical through JT Limited and have Modern Apprentices within the offices to bring on the next generation of Engineers and Managers.
Annual reviews are carried out to enable staff to develop to their full potential within the Group.
Supply Chain Management
We work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we can maintain cost effectiveness and programme deadlines on our projects. Close links are formed with major suppliers to ensure they are part of the project team.
We also look upwards within the supply chain and forge close relationships with our clients to ensure that we fully understand their needs and aspirations on a project.
L J Monks Group holds the view that working closely with our clients and suppliers will produce cost effective, on time, quality projects, carried out safely, profitable and to a standard wanted by all.
